Thanks for your explanation. Yes this seems a much better way of doing
things.

Some more updates: here is an updated legacyDevice.xml and profiles for
Netscape, Amaya and Opera (to go in the src\webapp\resources\legacyProfiles)
to add support for these browsers also.
