Torsten and I are actively working to solve this asymetry in Cocoon.
A few days ago I released a prototype which allows for automatic HTML Forms
<-> XML/Xpath <-> JavaBean binding.
It was basd on CastorTransformer, which was donated about a week ago itself.
I'll forward you the original email.
We should be releasing another version that covers a more complex wizard
example shortly.
