Great - it's always such a relief to find someone with the same problem!
I can confirm that the problem is *not* due to the new Java update for
Mac OS X 10.1.3 - one of our test systems is still running the old
release and exhibits identical behaviour in this respect.
But Volker's recent post looks promising.
