I thought about doing it for Forrest (connect <slash-edit> with a CVS
writable source and *voila* web-based doco editing!) but it's on my
lightyear-long todo list on a pretty deadly-low priority ATM.
My suggestion anyway is: take a look at netbeans, they have a CVS
protocol library which is pretty cool and the license is compatible.
Another solution is Eclipse (I think the license is compatible as well).
Third solution JCVS (but last time I checked was LGPL so I would give
higher priority to the other ones).
With this library shouldn't be that hard to build a writable source... I
just wonder how the URI would turn out to be... mapping the CVS resource
resolution space (with tags, branches and versions) to a URI space looks
pretty scary to me... (look at the mess that WebDAV DeltaV had to go
thru!)
