Hi Amir,

        I gave it a try and came across the same problem too. Must be some
        cvs server or repository issue (?).
        
        Perhaps check out each the subprojects you need separately, ie:
        
        cvs -q -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/cvspublic checkout -D 
2002-07-05 jakarta-avalon-excalibur/component
        
        Maybe that might let you get a bit futher.
