Well, the situation for Java on FreeBSD is a bit sad. The best
results I can get is running the Blackdown Linux JDK 1.2.2 with linux
emulation turned on in the FreeBSD Kernel. I've tried Sun's 1.3.1 and
1.4 for linux but these both take 100% of cpu and don't complete the
startup process of Tomcat, so I'm not sure what's wrong there but
some sort of incompatility.

This is not to say that there is a 1.3 or 1.4 JVM our there somewhere
that will run just fine on FreeBSD... if there is one, please let me
know!

By the way, I am not subscribed to cocoon-dev so please cc your
replies to me (lizst at va.com.au).

Thankyou

Jesse
