Yes, it could break backwards-compat in some instances, as it is defining some
previously undefined behaviour. Eg, perhaps a site is relying on an Apache
"DocumentIndex index.php" declaration for the site root, but not for any other
directories. I would say that such a site is abusing an inconsistency (bug) in
the Cocoon crawler behaviour. However there may be other more valid scenarios
where the old behaviour is used, so I won't be _too_ upset if this bug is marked
WONTFIX :)
