I would certainly prefer to search&replace the source path in the sitemap rather
than change cocoon.xconf and restart Cocoon ;-). After all, it comes down to an
issue of SoC. I already have developers breaking things while touching the
sitemap and would prefer to keep cocoon.xconf far from their hands and from the
necessity to change it often. I'd say: keep cocoon.xconf as generic as possible.
I don't even like putting JDBC datasource information there.

Just my 0.02 Euros.
