And I was awaiting it going into CVS before adding a further patch,
but I might as well just describe it by hand:
Remove the two excluded sitemaps (misc and xmlform) from the ant
target.
And in each of the two cases, edit the two sitemaps, removing the
<map:serialize /> tag where it immediately follows the map:read
tag. (I have tested that these applications continue to work
unchanged).
