To try to understand when-how-why it happens, could someone please try firing up the instrumentation client and seeing what the graphs say?
Instructions on how to set it up are in the documentation.
Marcus will (IIUC ;-) soon put it in Cocoon CVS for easy loading, but it's doable now already "by hand".
