See my comment about excalibur docs below. What would it take to bundle at least the javadocs for the various excalibur and avalon versions used in cocoon's cvs? It can be a real pain to figure out which release/cvs date we are using for each piece (framework, source resolver, cache, etc), check out excalibur's cvs, and build docs from source to fill in the missing pieces for a cocoon question.

Unfortunately, 90% of the time, the api docs at excalibur give a 404. I often wish the Avalon/Excalibur docs from the appropriate version were bundled with cocoon and this is one of those times.
