Wasn't it originally in Scheme? I saw some stuff digging around the source tree for it. What would be interesting if we could get some other language.. say, oh, Python. mmm.....

Continuations exist in Python : it's called "Stackless Python" (see [1]). Now I don't know if Jython implements this...
