Oh... Maybe then a little better explaination is needed: simply enough, if you checkout/update something, or commit some changes, CVS locks temporarily the directory you're reading from/writing to... It basically just hangs for 15/30 seconds waiting for the other CVS process to exit that directory! :-) Pier
