When something breaks, most of the time I have no idea which 'subsystem' is breaking. OTOH, I have a pretty good idea which subsystems are *not* involved. Hence the desire to have DEBUG the default, with progressive switching-off of things that ain't broke.
Ah, now I see it. It's a very good point.... hmmm, thinking about it, how would you like to see it configurable by build.properties? that would give each of us the chance to work with logs the way the like it
