just a sidenote...

when experimenting with DELI I found out that it didn't work correctly at
least with saxon (6.5.2 IIRC). this was due to the fact that the profile was
handed to the xslt transformer as a parameter of type Document (DOM). saxon
seems to be unable to handle this correctly.
