is error-handling inherited?
Only when <map:mount /> is inside pipeline containing error handler; then this handler is "inherited", so to speak. Anything else is a bug.
AFAIK, 2.0 compiled sitemap is 99.9% bug-less (and 0.1% takes "views must start from the last label" TODO item), so you can play with it. Treeprocessor is not complete yet (see bug on action sets, and same TODO item).
