Go to http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=12712 and download from there http://www.openoffice.org/issues/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=5286&file=TypeDetection.xcu. Copy it over $OOROOT/share/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office and enjoy your working Docbook setup...
