No. But can be added. The default for it could be set dependent on the used doctype. OK? 2. Because you only have to replace XMLSerializer with HTMLSerializer to create valid HTML instead of valid XHTML. 3. Don't even know if the HTML method in xalan supports it. But no, it would remove the namespace. Would it be OK to have the namespace list configurable with the defaults set to the current code?
