I'm working on an open-source embedded native XML database project called Berkeley DB XML. I think there would be a lot of value for end users if Cocoon were able to run on top of dbxml. We offer reliability and recoverability through transactions, and provide high performance indexing and querying of XML data. Is this something of interest to you Cocoon developers? Can we collaborate on this?
