You could have minimal reference info here, and include a link to your how-to.



2. An informal howto under howto/howto-pipeline-expires.xml

I still think how-tos are the most user-friendly. I'd vote for this, if you have time.



3. A Wiki page

Personally, I'd start it here, before committing it as an xdoc.
