Steven,
this is a known issue, try a search of mailing archives... IIRC Vadim asked
someone to fix it himself, since, apparently, nobody was going to fix it.
For my part, I'd be rather grateful for a fix like this... why ain't I doing
it myself ? Becaus my knowledge of caching is way to low to fiddle with it
:(
