This is what I did $ ./configure --oprefix=PREFIX $ make $ make install But when i execute $PREFIX/bin/apachectl start I get this error " fopen: No such file or directory httpd: could not open error log file PREFIX/PREFIX/logs/error_log. PREFIX/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started " what should I do? -carloz
