Mr. guru, If it is up to me, the SQLTransformer will never be depricated ;-). But the functionallity might slightly change and the implementation might be completly redone if necessary as long as the usage stays the same (i am not planning to change anything, but someone might be...). I never had any problems with the examples, it is very strange that the esql samples work and the sql-sample page not. If i am not mistaken, Vadim made a change to the SQLTransformer in cocoon_20_branch a few days ago, check again if you have the latest version and try again... If it doesn't work, try to describe your problem in more detail (what's the output, what's in the log file,...)
