You're right, to the best of my knowledge you can not mix JSP
and XSP.
I am may be wrong, but I believe tomcat (or whatever
application server you use) looks at the extension to determine how to process
it.
In the near future when the average i-net surfer has updated
their browser, the browser will take care of the XSLT transformation, which
hopefully will not be dependent on the extension.
