This may be slightly offtopic, and excuse me if this is the case...

We are building a rather large (and beautiful :) site in Cocoon2. I'm a
programmer, so I do the XSPs and the taglibs behind. However, I have also
been assigned the transforming of the HTML templates the graphic gurus have
designed into XSL.
They work under Dreamweaver (which produces a rather "clean" output, thank
you Macromedia :), but it's still not XHTML...

You must have run into this before, what do you do in this case? (except
tapping into the HTML source and closing the <br>, <img> and <area> tags
manually??)
