Hi, believe me or not. I was struggling with the same error. After a couple of reinstalls i removed sitemap.xmap from webapps/cocoon and restarted the server. Then it was fine. In the end it turned out that it was somehow related to the fact that all 3 Computers that were involved had time differences.
Still wondering what was going on. Anyway ....
