Cocoon 1.8.2 does not (to my knowledge) have a Producer by the name of
ProducerFromRequest. It comes with
org.apache.cocoon.producer.ProducerFromFile, however, which is what is used
for static XML files. I've only worked with 1.8.2 and not 1.7.3, but
perhaps the ProducerFromRequest that is referenced is a holdout from your
1.7.3 install - make sure you are using a cocoon.properties that is set up
for 1.8.2. Try commenting out the ProducerFromRequest producer entry from
the properties file.

Hi,
I am able to install Cocoon 1.7.3 on Tomcat 3.3
But I am not able to install Cocoon 1.82 on Tomcat 3.3 or Tomcat 3.2.3.
When try a sample page, I always get error:
Publishing Engine could not be initialized.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Error creating
org.apache.cocoon.producer.ProducerFromRequest: class is not found
at org.apache.cocoon.framework.Manager.create(Manager.java:114)

Could any help me out with this error.
