hi, I can guess the problem:
I've got the same symptoms if I access my upload-site via apache1.3 + mod_webapp. But if I request the site directly from tomcat (port 8080) the upload works perfectly. I know this in not the solution. Maybe anyone knows if it is possible to configure an upload-directory with an absolute path in web.xml.
