Hi I was wondering what optimisations can be made to get the most performance from Cocoon. There is a conversation about XSLTC happening as one possible performance enhancement. Are there any other tips that people have?
I also noticed in the Tomcat 4.0.2 documentation that there is the following line: extract from http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-4.0/release/v4.0.2/RELEASE-N OTES == start of extract == -------------------- JAVAC leaking memory: -------------------- The Java compiler leaks memory each time a class is compiled. Web applications containing hundreds of JSP files may as a result trigger out of memory errors once a significant number of pages have been accessed. The memory can only be freed by stopping Tomcat and then restarting it. == end of extract == I was wondering what (if any) implications this might have on Cocoon (with or without Tomcat -- e.g. is it a Javac problem, a JSP problem, etc...)?
