Hi Mark, I share in your grief. I've been experiencing similar problems myself (See New to Cocoon2 - can't start - no errors). No one has responded to my post. I've tried just about every suggestion that I've seen posted and nothing seems to work. When I hit http://localhost:8080/cocoon the system hangs forever. I plan to keep hacking at it. If I find anything I'll notify you. I hope that you can do the same for me.
