I found your posting (below) via a GOOGLE.COM search, and we are having the same problem with a web application we are reviewing. We get the exact same error message (with a different IP address of course). Did you ever figure out what was causing the problem? - Eric Carlson I found this on the web: Subject: RE: [WG-Users] UD-agent and http-proxy One option would be to add a HTTP filter for this site. The following is from the WG Moderator on the WG User Forum, posted on 9/17 on a similar question: 'No version found' problems: Some HTTP servers fail to send an HTTP version with the response. This is a mandatory part of the HTTP/1.1 specification. The Firebox HTTP proxy will not pass the server response if it does not have a version ID at the top. RFC 2068 has this to say about sending HTTP version messages: "Applications sending Request or Response messages, as defined by this specification, MUST include an HTTP-Version of "HTTP/1.1". Use of this version number indicates that the sending application is at least conditionally compliant with this specification." So that site is violating the RFC. Use an HTTP filter or contact them and complain.
