I've got Cocoon behind Squid - as a proxy / 'acceleration' server.
Everything works fine, except...
Any PDF files downloaded from the site are truncated to 81920 bytes.
If I download directly from Cocoon the files download in full.
If I change the ending on the file (in the sitemap) to ".txt" or ".bin"
the files download (through Squid) in full!
-- but if you name the files ".txt" wget indicates that they have an
unknown length
(but still downloads them in full).
-- if the files are named ".bin" wget knows the length in advance.
(and downloads them in full).
So...
1. Cocoon servers the files correctly.
2. Squid happily serves much longer files as long as they don't end in
".pdf".
