Yes, it's an interesting idea. Luminas is already doing a semi-automatic grabbing of URLs sent to the lists and formatting those through Cocoon. You can see it at http://www.luminas.co.uk/technology/cocoon/url/ each Wednesday. I need to try to make it fully automatic and improve things about it, though. I'm working on the theory that all the interesting stuff appears at a URL eventually, even if it's only a pointer to a past message in a mailing list archive.
