copy the batik*.jar and xml-apis.jar files to your common/lib directory and restart tomcat.

check sitemap.xmap is available under tomcat / webapps /cocoon folder. and check cocoon.xconf file for this line

which normally be at the end of the file

That is all ok - I've found following in cocoon.log.000001:

ERROR   (2002-04-08) 12:01.28:635   [cocoon  ] (/cocoon/) HttpProcessor[8080][4]/Handler: Error compiling sitemap
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/w3c/dom/svg/SVGPaint
       ...
Maybe there is the reason?
