Hi all I am trying to develop a intranet for projects running in the company. We follow SDLC and all are documented. We are trying to implement document based publishing to xml based publishing. The current process which is there is putting word documents in VOB and accessing them through apache. We cannot take any reports keeping those documents. So we are trying to implement our intranet using Cocoon and XML.
Our idea is to give a good working environment to staff who develop design documents, project plan etc.... The base XML document should be generated with exsisting data in database and some entry field where user can add some more data. Basically a template will be provided to user to add descriptions which get added to the XML. If this is through only i can go on further. I am struck up in this quiet long time. As anyone had developed this type of interface If it so pl. give me an example to show how it happens Or any solution also welcome. Thanks in advance Regards Sreenivasan.
