I'm a newbie. I've created my own version (tweaked it a little) of the bonebreaker example found on the cocooncenter website : http://www.cocooncenter.de/cc/documents/resources/navigation/index.html
I am still having a hard time grasping how to create actions in cocoon. I'm trying to connect to a database, perform some queries, and use the information from the queries in my pipelines. I've already looked at the "Creating and Using Actions" section of the online User Guide : http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/userdocs/concepts/actions.html and could not get that example to work. I'm trying to not use XSP's to preserve the separation between logic, content, and style. Any links to a more extended documentation on action creation and also their uses in cocoon would be much appreciated.
