platform: os x tomcat: 4.0.1 cocoon: 2 java version: 1.3.1 tomcat installs just fine. adding cocoon.war causes tomcat to crash every time I attempt to access /cocoon/. The only thing in the logs that looks informative is in catalina.out:
Starting service Tomcat-Standalone Apache Tomcat/4.0.1 Server 1.6 is running Press [Ctrl]+[C] to abort Starting service Tomcat-Apache Apache Tomcat/4.0.1 (ipc/send) invalid destination port : initCGDisplayState: cannot map display interlocks. kCGErrorFailure : CGSNewConnection cannot connect to server kCGErrorFailure : CGSNewConnection cannot connect to server kCGErrorInvalidConnection : CGSGetEventPort: Invalid connection Other logs just have all kinds of DEBUG crap.
