This is a serious problem about the use of XMLForm in VoiceXML. While experimenting with XMLForm to generate VoiceXML this a problem that I faced.
Since in XMLForm all the name of the fields begins with "/" in HTML <select name="/city"> is not a problem while in VXML <field name="/city"> is an error.
