Dear Sir, I am using "JBoss-2.4.3_Tomcat-3.2.3" as an application server. I have extracted the cocoon2.0.zip and also placed the cocoon.war file in to tomcat webapp folder.
When i am access the same from http://localhost:8080/cocoon/ It gives following error: -----------ERROR MESSAGE------------ type internal-server-error message SAX2 driver class org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser not found description java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser sender org.apache.cocoon.servlet.CocoonServlet source Cocoon servlet request-uri /cocoon/ exception java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser path-info java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser ..... -----------ERROR END---------------- I have also removed praser.jar & jaxp.jar and copied xerces.jar file to tomcat lib directory and renamed it to xerces.jar as instructed in install.txt.
