Pristine Linux 2.4 kernels do not have the patches needed for the 6.0.x
venuses (venii?). You can grab the linux-coda tarball from
ftp.coda.cs.cmu.edu:/pub/coda/linux/kernel/linux-coda-6.0.0.tgz
Or apply the following patch to your kernel tree,
ftp.coda.cs.cmu.edu:/pub/coda/linux/kernel/linux-2.4-coda.patch
(the patch was updated for 2.4.23 by Ivan Popov, haven't had a chance to
test it out yet myself)
