Permission denied adding hoard

I am having problems finding sufficient documentation on the hoard
feature.  As I understand it, this should work:

My hoard file, "hoardfile" is:

a /coda/192.168.45.201/hoarddir/hoardme.txt 600


The command:
        $ hoard -f hoardfile produces:

pioctl:Add([EMAIL PROTECTED], ./hoardme.txt, 600, 0, 0): Permission
denied

I am logged into coda as an admin.  Thanks in advance for your help.
