Couldn't get volume location information for <X>

- seems fine - but:

createvol_rep <X> server/codaserver
<X> already exists as a replica on server

and BigVolumeList truly contains it:
W<X>.0 I100004b H1 P/codaserver m0 M0 U2 W100004b C418b48c2 D418b48c2 B0 A0

Interesting, you could try to run bldvldb.sh which rebuilds the BigVolumeList. Maybe the volume is actually gone, but the list isn't updated.

Well, I already tried that - but that didn't help either. I even tried to modify BigVolumeList manually, but bldvldb.sh would just restore the orgininal values, since they are reported by "volutil getvolumelist" ; Where does the latter command get its data from?

Thanks,
Michael
