Hello,
the installation of coda client on a linux server results in:
"becoming a zombie...", i.e. venus
I did:
venus-setup coda1.wettzell.ifag.de 1000000
./venus.init start
/usr/coda/etc/console says:
Date: Wed 06/14/2006

What can be wrong?
I am using the newest coda setup and this client is installed on Kernel
2.4.21 including coda kernel packages linux-coda-6.4
lsmod gives:
Module Size Used by Not tainted
coda 37632 2
I terminated venus by
# /etc/init.d/venus stop
Shutting down venus: done.
But the start is not possible any more:
# /etc/init.d/venus start
Starting venus: done.
But no
/coda filesystem is there
/usr/coda/etc/console ssays nothing more;
# more venus.log
