You created the entry in the first place ;-) Freshmeat is going strong as usual, no problems there. It's been a while since I last submitted an announce on FM, but I don't remember them having this.. Auto-check I mean. You manually have to announce a release and fill in other supplementary data, like what's new in the release, what bugfixes etc.
