Hello, for information and for what it is worth,
a single Coda server here is talking to about 400 clients over a fast LAN, each of them fetching about 120 MB at a random point in time during one hour. The server seems to be processor-bound, presumably by the encryption, the processor load stays near 100% and the corresponding peak performance is slightly over 15 MB/sec out. The computer is a double Dual Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 280 @2.4GHz on a 1Gbit link. The codasrv process is using one of the cores (due to the user space lwp). Regards, Rune
