I'm also not sure I've tested the FreeBSD version of Coda on a 64-bit system. It might be worth doing a trial run on a 32-bit system to see if that helps --
No argument with your advice, but as of at least two years ago I was running Coda ok on NetBSD/sparc64 (which is LP64). So the userland part was ok (I think thanks to Brett).
