I fixed this by changing the line 710 in coda-src/venus/worker.cc
from
#if defined(__BSD44__) || defined(__linux__)
to
#if defined(__BSD44__) || defined(__junk__)
I.e., I omitted the problematic ioctl from compiling on linux systems.
