Hmm, I hope this list is still alive ...

Anyways, I finally have the necessary round tuits to try to get a decent
networked file system up between my lab computers and laptop. However, it
just isn't working. Here's the deal ...

I tried this on two computers, a PIII/600 Redhat 6.2 machine and a P100
Redhat 6.1 machine. Both fail with the same error during the
"createvol_rep pattern E0000100 /vicepa" step. The output was :

Servers are (pattern )
HexGroupId is 7F000000
creating volume pattern.0 on pattern
V_BindToServer: binding to host pattern.dworkin.net
RPC2_NewBinding to server pattern.dworkin.net failed with RPC2_NOBINDING
(F)
Failure to make volume on pattern!. Abort..

/vice/srv/SrvLog has :

22:54:16 Resource limit on data size are set to 2147483647

22:54:16 Server etext 0x80c3fda, edata 0x80fa230
22:54:16 RvmType is Rvm
22:54:16 Main process doing a LWP_Init()
22:54:16 Main thread just did a RVM_SET_THREAD_DATA

22:54:16 Setting Rvm Truncate threshhold to 5.

22:54:21 rds_load_heap error Invalid RVM return code

        Anyone have a clue?

Thanks,
 Seth
