Hi,
I encounter the same warning message as Erik Terpstra, and venus
(client) can't run properly with testserver.coda.cs.cmu.edu. However,
the log is a little bit different.
Here are the commands I typed and the logs (line begin with a "*"
is the problematic line):
---------------------------------------------------------------------
bash# venus-setup testserver.coda.cs.cmu.edu 40000
/etc/services already has new services registered! Good.
bash# venus &

Also, then I hit the enter key, venus is killed as the following line:

I am using Slackware 7.0, with linux kernel 2.2.14. For coda part, I
have downloaded the newest source code and compiled & installed
everything...
Anyone knows how to solve the problem?
Robin
