I have a couple questions on the coda backups.

The Coda SysAdmin manual gives a good description of
setting up the back system, but doesn't say if somehow
coda itself runs the backups or I need to add the backup
script into my cron tables.  I assume the latter, but then I'm
not sure why coda keeps track of the dump levels internally.

Finally, I'm unclear how you remount the dumped volumes.
The example on page 78 says:
    cfs mkmount OldFiles u.hmpierce.0.backup
will mount the "u.hmpierce" volume from replica 0.
I don't understand what the replica number is, and
is the ".backup" suffix a magic flag for the mkmount command?
I have a directory full of dumped volumes that look like this:

/codaBackups/29Sep2000/oak/7f000000.1000001
/codaBackups/29Sep2000/oak/7f000001.1000002

and I don't understand how mkmount is going to find the correct one.
Finally, volutil has a "restore" option too.  Which one should I use?

Here is my /vice/vol/VRList

coda_root 7F000000 1 1000001 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 E0000100
p.jdk1.2.2 7F000001 1 1000002 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 E0000100
